Marlo Gertz grew up with a passion for baking people cookies and making a mess in the kitchen. She turned this love of working with butter and sugar into a career once she completed her professional pastry training in 2012 and launched her company, Marlo's Bakeshop.  

Her travels around the globe and family history have both influenced the products Marlo makes and the way that she approaches baking in a no-fuss manner. In her spare time Marlo enjoys reading in her nook on her sofa, cooking large meals with family and friends and....baking (we swear). She's very good at vacationing but doesn't get to do it as much as she'd like.

Kellan Hori's approach to food is naturally influenced by his native California background, world travels, and Japanese heritage. His palate is bright, fresh, tasty and (as one diner said) “makes you want to go back for seconds and thirds.” Kellan prides himself on his skill with meats and weighty proteins and he completes the plate with delicious salads, slaws, and approachable but adventurous flavor combinations. He will never shy away from bacon.

Chef Kellan appeared on the First Season of Food Network’s show Cutthroat Kitchen hosted by Alton Brown in October. Through a mountain of adversity and challenges he came out on top as Champion.
